First time renting from this location and pleasantly surprised. A nice little spot for car rentals right off SR16. I was able to reserve a day rental at about last minutes notice for a decent price. Very nice 2024 model SUV vehicle provided and very clean / well maintained. I went through Priceline which provided insurance for the rental but this place also offers their own insurance (which I did not know). I rented a Ford Expedition to drive myself and friends to the St Augustine, FL a good 7 hour drive. After there, the check engine light came on, indicating low air in tire. (14 psi!) I took it to a highly rated Goodyear service station. They immediately notified me that all 4 tires were bald! I called Budget who told me to take it directly to the nearest Budget for a vehicle exchange. I exchanged for a Chrysler Pacifica (different category). BLUF: filthy vehicle that wasn't even legal to be on the street and no attempt by management to remedy the situation. Picked up an F150 which was the cheapest vehicle for a long rental. The exterior looked like it had never been cleaned. The interior had definitely never been cleaned. There was sand all over the interior, the windows and windshield looked like someone had sneezed all over them. The seats were dirty.
