Had a reservation for yesterday inclement weather didn’t allow us to pick up the truck, I called the location spoke with a gentleman, confirmed that I will be going today to pickup the truck which he agreed and confirmed that will be available for pickup, I arrived at the location: no truck, he acknowledged speaking with me yesterday, but “Nothing that I can do I rent the truck this morning, (I was completely amazed even though I did my due diligent and spoke with him) because what you should have done was calling customer s... read more
It does no good to make a reservation a month and a half in advance if you show up and a car is not available.
The gentleman that operates this location is a class act. I got terrible service at the NOLA airport location but this location did everything they could to make it better. I still have issues to resolve with the corporate office but at least if you rent here you can trust they’ll take care of you.
You make a reservation and prepay a week in advance for a car, one would expect to have a car ready when you arrive. The fact that a car was not ready when my wife arrived and she was told y'all don't know when they will have one, it could be later today or later this week is bad enough. What really is bothersome is the person Budget put in place as the 'manager' at the Siegen location. If I were Budget, I'd rethink this person as an employee or at the very least do some retraining.
