I rented a car from Budget Peabody on July 20, 2025 and canceled the reservation on July 23 due to a death in my family. We are now at the end of September, and I have still not received my refund. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. I rented a cargo van to transport supplies for my baby shower. I picked up the van on Friday and arranged an after-hours drop-off for Saturday night—just one day later—because I was told extending the rental until Sunday morning would cost an outrageous $300. These guys are great! I’ve been to a lot of different rental counters in the Boston area and Ade Gomez was amazing to work with! They were patient with my questions and always kept it extremely professional. Will rent here over any other car rental location in the area!
