My previous negative review should have been left for Dollar, not Budget. My experience with the AVIS/Budget location has been very positive.
I recently had a confirmed reservation to pickup a vehicle, only to be told upon arrival they did not have a vehicle for me. I wasted an Uber ride for nothing. No calls received, no emails, no texts. I was pretty disappointed that no alternatives were offered by the company other than a sorry.
We used our capital one credit card and got a huge discount on a Jeep Grand Wagoneer. It was a great drive from San Antonio to Houston!
Don't even think about using this company. They charged me $450 to clean bugs off the front of the car from driving. Even better, they didn't even tell me. They just charged my card. I have never seen a company do something so damn shady. When I saw the charge on my card I honestly thought I got double billed so I contacted them. Provided them with my rental number as well as copies of my receipt and confirmation number. They tried telling me they "couldn't find it with the number provided".
