I booked a truck and a car trailer online. I filled out all of the car information for the trailer and finalized the reservation. Due to some unknown glitch on Budget's site, I arrived to pick up my truck and trailer and the representative (who was already dealing with the car they did NOT have for the people in front of me who booked online) informed me that they did not have my car trailer. Awful experience. I had a pick up scheduled for 12pm and it was almost 1:30 before I got a car. I was asked to sign off on the damage on the car before even seeing it, I of course said no and asked to go inspect the car first. There were multiple dings and scuffs on the car, no biggie, but then I noticed the front driver tire had two large and significant sized "chunks" of rubber taken out of the tire. The car I rented was not available. I had to wait more than a half hour for a similar car. The car was filthy. Wrappers and chips all over the floor. The gas tank was over 100 miles from a full tank. The windshield wiper was completely broken metal scraped the glass. I went to take the car back and they said I’d have to wait AGAIN!! I had to go, so I went to AutoZone and bought a windshield wiper for $30. They told me they would reimburse me for that and for the gas not being full. Still waiting for the credits. Dropped my friend off here to pickup a car to go see his sick mom. He had a reservation. When he showed up, they said they have no cars. In the age of computers, this is unacceptable! Your entire business model is to take reservations and based on that reservation, rent the customer a car.
