I've been a loyal customer to Budget/Avis for years. This particular rental situation was a giant hit to my customer loyalty. My reservation was cancelled a day before the scheduled pick-up time. I talked to 3 different people about the situation. One of them being the owner of the pick-up spot. Not one of them could tell me why my rental was cancelled. I usually don't rent from here this time they were the only ones that had cars available. Rental went ok

Where to begin? First, got to the pickup desk and they didn’t have the car I reserved. They gave me a “free” upgrade. Ha! Ha! When I picked up my vehicle the gas tank was half full. Nobody in sight to check out return procedures. I returned the vehicle with a half of a tank of gas, and again, there was no one on sight to check out the vehicle, just someone to return the keys to.
