I have rented from Budget multiple times before, but I have to leave my honest review because this absolutely should not have happened. I understand that things do go wrong sometimes, but I can say with almost 100 percent certainty that Budget does not properly inspect their vehicles before transferring them to another customer. Rented a car that was at 15% charge when I picked up. Had to spend 90 minutes charging before I could go anywhere.

Some of these reviews had me scared for my first time renting a car, but it truly couldn't have been more quick and painless. You can fill out most of the paperwork online/in the app beforehand and they simply verify the license and some other info and add a standard CC for a deposit. Was in and out in less than 10 minutes, with a very nice, clean, newer model Toyota SUV. Advertising lower rates if you sign up for their website only to find that the base rate increased. Absolute fraudulent and false advertising. Check out prices before and after you sign up.

Yash was so incredibly kind. We landed in Mesa and instantly upgraded us to a Mustang free of charge. He walked us out to the car and made sure we were comfortable and the tank was full! Couldn’t have been kinder! Very personable! Thank you Yash!
