Great customer service is what truly makes this location stand out. I had a major issue with a vehicle I originally rented out of Newark Airport, and the situation was becoming extremely stressful. If you want clean and smoke free car, do not visit this place. I had pickup at 5 pm, and call ahead to make sure car is ready. After going through all paper work, when I got the car it was not clean at all. The carpet was dirty, seats were dirty and trunk..the owners were discussing and blaming each other's why they didn't clean. I just wasted my time driving to this location. This was my second booking and will be last I.will not recommend this place.
Somerset Budget is by far the best experience I have had at a rental car place. Jeff, Cindy, and their son make you feel like family. They are courteous, professional, and efficient. Cars are cars anywhere you rent. It’s the service from the staff that makes all the difference here. I don’t rent anywhere else. This place has spoiled me too much and it’s all because of who’s running it. Couldn’t give them a high enough review. They need a 6th star!
Staff is great. Always leave having had a positive experience. They go above and beyond.
If I could give 10 stars to this location, I would! I originally went to a different location and had a horrific experience - it took them all day to get me my car (despite making a reservation a month in advance), and when they did, it was filthy and only had 1/2 a tank of gas. I took it to the car wash, filled up the tank, and after I got it all packed up, it then had a bunch of mechanical problems as I was leaving my driveway for a trip to Nashville.
