Excellent experience with Budget this weekend at the Stamford Metro station. The team was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. They even went out of their way to accommodate my request for a specific type of car and the color I wanted—which I know isn’t always easy to do. The whole process was smooth and the car was perfect. Truly phenomenal customer service. Thank you to the Budget Team at Stamford Metro.
My appt was for a 12 pm pickup. I was late arriving. They informed me my standard size Vehicle was not ready. After 30 minutes waiting they handed me keys and asked that I walk around the corner to get my vehicle. I didn't know until I hit the FOB key and realized I was given a gas guzzler large VW Atlas. Gas in CT and NY is expensive. I was very frustrated by the situation and opted not to go back in.
I booked a rental from Budget while home in Trinidad because I knew I would be in Stamford. When I got there in person, everything was so smooth. No confusion about who I was or what I wanted. I drove a Mazda CX 30. It took me a minute to get familiar with the vehicle, but once I did, and I hit the road, it was smooth sailing. I'd definitely recommend and rent from here again when I'm in Stamford.
