Budget is scamming people! Went on the site to book a reservation. The total was $174.65. Went through the entire process, put my card info in, hit reserve and boom, the system tells me there was an issue and to contact customer service. I try again and would you believe the rate increased so the base rate of $129.92 is now $174.92!!! For the same car, same dates! Do not rent Budget. Returned car early at night drop. Got notice $143 charge after return. Called repeated to busy signal. Called corporate and was told car was returned empty. I filled car one block away before dropping. Drove back to agent and was told there was nothing they could do. Agent called and confirmed it was full for next customer. I rented a car here because mine broke down. I really needed this car. The gave me one that needed an oil change. It is my fault for not asking first. I called 27 times and they never answered the phone. Horrible. Go somewhere else.
