Rented a truck (one way) here Aug 12–16. The A/C blew hot air almost the whole time, making the move really tough. I called and emailed starting Aug 14 but never got a response from customer care. Returned the truck on time, but no one ever followed up. I also tried calling this location multiple times, but no one ever answered. Equipment problems can happen, but the lack of support is what really frustrated me.
This was my second rental thru Avis-Budget car rental in Hilliard , Ohio, on Nike Dr. My experience was excellent, they worked with in my pricing limits, rental needs and returning back to the Hilliard location at the conclusion of my trip. "Mena" , was so accommodating with my requests and limitations. I am so happy with the vehicle , and the service management , I will not go out to the airport again to rent a car. I rented a car from Budget, and at the time of pickup, the employee clearly told me the weekly rate was $230 plus a $200 deposit. He also told me that if I decided to extend the rental, the rate would be even cheaper. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When I extended the rental, no one informed me that the rate would change. I wasn’t given any clear explanation or updated agreement.
