Man… what a bad experience. This will be the last time I ever rent a car from Budget. I made an online reservation to pick up a car at the Murray, UT location on October 22nd at 8:00 AM. I received the confirmation and receipt — everything looked set. Then the day before, I got a call saying they changed the pickup location to Salt Lake City, adding an extra 35–40 minutes to my trip. Terrible service that has their own rules that are not aligned with corporate
(((Read to the bottom for how they tried to collect $150 fraudulently.))) On Sunday Sept 21, 2025 I created an online reservation for a box truck, went in to complete said reservation and was met with dismissal then hostility.
