Easy experience- booked online and picked up with no problems. The car was nice and clean and the employee friendly. I knocked down one star because I booked a mystery car online for a cheaper price but all they had were electric vehicles- not great for a long road trip. They let me have a gas car but charged extra per day so the total cost was $100 more thank expected. Just be aware if you do the mystery deal that you could end up with and EV and plan appropriately!
Never rent from this place. If you would like to play Russian Roulette with your life, then rent from them. While I was driving the vehicle on the highway, the shield guard Miraculously came undone. Literally, the shield guard was dragging on the ground. Nothing was hit, no accidents beforehand never was this vehicle was not tampered with. NO ONE ANSWERS THERE PHONES. I have an issue with my current rental and have tried Albany airport location and Colonial mall ALL DAY. Rings and rings then the 800 # picks up and says there is nothing they can do!
I booked a reservation with a discount code that I get for being an Amazon employee. You can't use the discount unless you log into the Amazon employee portal and book through their site. This benefit is extended to immediately family members as well. I booked the reservation for me and my dad, with both of our names. When my dad arrived to pick up the car, they wouldn't give it to him because I wasn't present to "prove" I am an Amazon employee. I told him I could send him my credentials via email but he refused. BEWARE - keep your fuel receipts!!! Dropped a rental car off full of fuel - just filled it up less than a couple miles from the airport - and they said it was over 10 gallons short. Charged us $150 to fill it up. Tried to call Budget customer service and they were not helpful either. Wanted to jump through all these hoops to prove I filled the car up when the employee just blatantly lied.
