I rented a car from budget broke down on New State Thruway. Had the car towed to Colonie Center I call the Main office they said person behind Counter should off me towing service have no experience in renting cars was not offered the Service. Be careful ask a lot questions before renting a car
I waited several hours to pick up the car because their service was down. I returned the car with a full tank and was charged $17.99 for fuel service. After reading the paperwork I see this is the fee they tack on if you do not provide the receipt for the gas you buy. Unbelievable.
Worst car rental experience in my 40+ years of renting vehicles. Started off with excessively long lines at the Albany, NY airport. We were told to go to the garage station for quicker service. Ha! Quicker? We waited about 20 minutes before we were “greeted” by a grumpy service rep. She told us we would need to return to the desk in the airport but several of us stated we were told to visit the garage desk.
