Wow… where do I start. What a complete crook that rented me my car. Budget quote of $114. Get there rent the car all good. I return the car the next day and no one at the counter. I drop the keys in the drop box. I returned the car within the 24hrs I had rented it. I drove maybe 15 miles and squeezed in $5 of gas before I returned it. My bill was $246. I wish I could put zero stars our daughter visiting Santa Fe from Australia went to the Santa Fe Airport to hire a car, she used her Debit Card which they swiped, took the money, then refused to hire a car, left her stranded and crying at the airport with no kindness or consideration. One month later she still does not have her money back, for a car that was never hired....not a good look, absolute scammers, rude, and scammed over$1000 US dollars. Terrible and rude service. Car was not what I reserved and also filthy with broken wipers. They are massive scammers they lie about mileage and charge $10/gal of gas. Never ever rent here or the Avis same booth and workers.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Budget Car Rental at the Santa Fe Airport, which I would rate 0/10. After returning my rental car and accidentally leaving my wallet inside, I went to the front desk to retrieve the keys. While waiting for assistance, I attempted to get the attention of a female staff member who walked by, but she blatantly ignored me. I returned the car 2 hours earlier but the guy with the horrible mood and manners still decided to charge me an extra day. They are scammers and thieves at this location.
