Rented a car for a one-way trip to another state. Arrived to pick up the mid size SUV, a Jeep Compass was ready and waiting for us. The signing process was painful, carbon pages (like from the 80's) and the top copy was not legible, you could not read it at all, the guy at the counter assured me of where to sign and initial this document. DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET ON MIDLOTHIAN TURNPIKE! They will try to find every way to charge you extra! The communication is all over the place. They’re very unknowledgeable. Every one you speak with tells you something different. You don’t know who to believe! This company is the worst car rental company. I ENCOURAGE YOU TO GO ELSEWHERE!
We arrived the day after booking was confirmed and they said there a delay on all cars/we'd have to wait 4 hours or go to the airport. When we asked to be switched to the airport we were told we'd have to call customer service rather than work with the office. Called customer service? They told us they couldn't transfer locations. Not the guy's fault/he was very calm and nice. But Budget as a company is not customer focused.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. The customer service at this location is the absolute worst. We will not be returning or ever renting from Budget again.
Use this location all the time and they go out of their way.
