Terrible experience booking here. Booked a car only to find out the booking "was lost." Two men working didn't want to help and kept passing off work to each other. Finally got time to paying and I identified several flaws in bill. The gentleman said "just pay I don't want to go through the process again, but the other guy will help with refund when you return." Car smelled terribly of cigarettes. Returned car before it was due with full take and was charged the incorrect amount. Do not book through them.

Potential scam artists? We prepaid online through Hotels.com, but when we arrived, Budget charged us again in full. We tried to resolve it, but were sent through hoops by customer service. After finally giving up and returning the car less than 24 hours later, we were still charged well beyond the daily rate quoted. The staff refunded part of the charge but couldn’t even explain the additional inflated fee properly. The experience was deeply unprofessional, inconsiderate, and unpleasant. Avoid - Scam Artists I’ve been a loyal Budget customer for years, but after dealing with this location, I’m done. I returned a rental car in February with no issues. The person doing the walk-through didn’t note any damages, yet four months later, I receive a bogus claim for over $2k in supposed damages. This feels like a scam, and I’m beyond frustrated. Don’t trust these owners or their shady practices. Definitely will not rent here again.

Price was good. Car had problems, but that was Budget @ Bradley airport. Westport office is awesome
