The man who works at the desk here is really rude. I was charged for moving blankets that I didn't return with the truck (fair). The man at the desk calls to say there's going to be a charge, but all I have to do is bring the blankets back. He doesn't mention anything about a time limit. It took me some time to find the blankets, unpacking is hard, so I showed up 2 months later trying to return them. The guy was really rude about it and insisted it was too late. We are two French tourists who came in April 2024 and we promised to leave a review. The manager helped us get the Mustang convertible of our dreams and helped us out when we had a flat tire by exchanging the Mustang for another car with an upgrade. Our trip would not have been as incredible without their kindness, their help, their availability and their intervention. Many thanks again and sorry for posting the review so late.
DO NOT RENT HERE. We reserved a moving van online and was given a price and an email to back up that price. When my husband showed up to pick up the van, he verbally declined all the extra coverage as we already have it (which I had also done online). They instead billed us an extra $239 and charged it to our card. Their phone customer service is horrific, so there's no way for me to fight this.
Dishonest people who lie about requiring damage waivers. Making up stuff like California just passed a law last november BS. Also trick you into having a “free” extra day only to charge you more if late.
