Not pleased with the service. My first and last time renting from them. Go anywhere but Budget.
If I could give this place 0 stars I WOULD! I just called to confirm is there is availability before I purchase a rental, the lady RUDELY said to me “we have no cars available”. I suggested to her to remove the availability online because people are paying, and you guys have nothing available. She straight hung up on me. I thought I was getting a great deal compared to other local car rentals, right up until I hit the reserve now button. The price of my rental immediately jumped a couple hundred dollars, and the charge was sent to my card. despite immediately canceling, I was charged a $150 cancellation fee. This business is a freaking scam.
Budget is the absolute worst they knew they didn’t have any cars to rent and still took my $300 prepayment for my reservation. I called customer service as instructed by the lady at the counter and no one answered from customer service. I sent an email 4 emails actually and not one response. Just shut the whole company down their stealing money.
