The worst rental car place!!!! Upon arrival to this location they did not have the car that I reserved. Instead, they gave me a car that was dented and scratched all over!!!! The vehicle clearly looks like it was in multiple accidents and they’re still trying to rent it out to people!! Planned a trip for months, prepaid the rental car a month ago. Got to Avis to pick up car but then they ran my credit and told me sorry they can't rent to me. So now I have a $300 charge to my card for a car I can't rent and I have to wait for days to get my money back. Why couldn't they have run my credit when I reserved the card and save me all this hassle? Ridiculous.
I rented a cargo van. Van was fine and the price was good. However, sales associated was very deceptive and basically scammed me. He said that since it was a cargo van it was considered a "commercial vehicle" and that Physical damage insurance was mandatory. I double-checked with my insurance afterwards and it is not. Ended up costing an extra $200. Be aware.
DONT RETURN A BUDGET TRUCK HERE. Budget truck itself customer service was good. But my return location for my rental was here and even though we returned the truck ONE DAY EARLIER than the contracted date, the location told budget they didn’t receive the truck and I got charged $110 late fee per day for 16 days!!! $1600 they charged me when they forgot that they gave me a receipt when we returned the truck that clearly stated the time and date the truck was returned.
