DO NOT BOOK with BUDGET at this rental agency. My experience is very similar to reviews posted. Booked online a week in advance, called the rental the previous day to confirm, lady confirmed I can pick up at 4 pm the next day. Get there at 4, no agent (went for a trip), no cars, no nothing except a kind car washing person who tried everything to find me a solution. Solution, drive to LAX to pick up a car!!! Sunday June 7 2026 Horrible!! I made a reservation online. They sent my reservation confirmation through email and I had to rush over there due to them closing for the day. From the time I was sent my reservation confirmation, to the time I arrived in therein parking lot, was about 40 mins. I took an Uber which wasn't cheap. Got a call from a private number with a garbled voicemail at 6pm the day before my pick up. Arrived and was told there were no moving trucks available. Get this, was offered to pick up a truck in Costa Mesa, 2 hours away! Terrible service, totally set me back in my move. Avoid this at all costs. Not worth the hassle.

HORRIBLE!! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM I made an online reservation a full week in advance for a truck rental needed for a scheduled move this Sunday. Today, I received a voicemail stating they were “sold out.” If you’re sold out, you should not be accepting reservations. That is literally the entire purpose of making one ahead of time—especially for something as time-sensitive as moving.
