Extra charge and never respond. I rent that car and choose return at 2pm but in original ticket it says that I should bring that car at 11am. The man in an office says that’s fine, no problem, he’s working till 2pm. I came at 1pm with full tank of gas and when I left that car he sent me check for extra three hours and 12 gallons gasoline. I tried call to the office 5 time but nobody answered. I would recommend stay till they check everything before you go because it fells like they doing it every time.

It’s honestly wild to me to read all of these good experiences because of how trash my experience was. My car died about a week ago and I don’t have a credit card available at the moment, so before even creating my reservation, I called the number listed as the Red Bank location & was somehow forwarded to the call center for Budget. Had a great experience renting a car from this location! Had to have repairs done on my car and needed a rental for the week. Budget had the best price (was around $260 for the whole week). I prepaid online and picking up the car was super smooth and easy- Sam was very kind and helpful! He let me choose between two vehicles and recommended I try out the new Prius hybrid that was available. It was a very cool little car, brand new, with only 1,000 miles on it. I was able to make my rental online. However, when I needed to extend my return time, no one ans'd the phone (during open office hours), I couldn't modify online (at NO add'l cost) and the automated system wouldn't allow me to modify either until eventually I got customer service on the phone. I was told I could not modify the car return bc there was no after hours key drop and I would have to return the car next day for an add'l charge. Great experience! Moe was super helpful— the first car on offer would have been tough for family to get in and out of the back seat, so Moe cleaned a recently returned car for us on the spot that was a great fit for our needs. Rental was also quick and easy in a handy location in downtown Red Bank.
