Mohamed or “Moe” is very rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I see other reviews have had the same experience with him. I switched to the red bank location because the other close location had horrible customer service, but I guess they hire the same type of people at every location.

My mother recently booked a rental through Budget and received a confirmation and reservation number. Everything seemed fine until we arrived at the Eatontown location, where we were told there were no vehicles available. No one could explain why the system allowed a reservation if there were no cars, and we were told to try the Red Bank location instead. That’s where things went from bad to worse. Extra charge and never respond. I rent that car and choose return at 2pm but in original ticket it says that I should bring that car at 11am. The man in an office says that’s fine, no problem, he’s working till 2pm. I came at 1pm with full tank of gas and when I left that car he sent me check for extra three hours and 12 gallons gasoline. I tried call to the office 5 time but nobody answered. I would recommend stay till they check everything before you go because it fells like they doing it every time.

It’s honestly wild to me to read all of these good experiences because of how trash my experience was. My car died about a week ago and I don’t have a credit card available at the moment, so before even creating my reservation, I called the number listed as the Red Bank location & was somehow forwarded to the call center for Budget. I specifically asked if the Red Bank location, address was verified, accepted debit cards for rentals and was told they do.
