Systemic Deceptive Billing and Data Breaches Do Not Rent Here at all costs If you are considering renting from the Budget location at 515 Main Street in Moncton, consider this a formal warning. I recently returned a vehicle in pristine condition. At roughly 7:15 AM I received a clean e receipt to prove it. Pre-booked a $35 one-day rental and pre-paid for additional insurance, then in-person got told they require a $750 deposit for this one-day rental without any notice on the booking page online. I have never paid over $100 for a deposit on a rental no matter if it was a luxury sedan or an econobox if I even paid deposits to begin with, I’ve been renting cars for many years and I’ve never seen this. Bad experience due to that car was not safety checked and I discovered while on the highway during snow storm that the is I had a disappointing experience with this Budget location. The rental car was not properly safety-checked. I discovered there was no windshield washer fluid while driving on the highway during a snowstorm. This created a dangerous situation, and I had to stop at a gas station to buy some myself.
