Pre-booked a $35 one-day rental and pre-paid for additional insurance, then in-person got told they require a $750 deposit for this one-day rental without any notice on the booking page online. I have never paid over $100 for a deposit on a rental no matter if it was a luxury sedan or an econobox if I even paid deposits to begin with, I’ve been renting cars for many years and I’ve never seen this. Bad experience due to that car was not safety checked and I discovered while on the highway during snow storm that the is I had a disappointing experience with this Budget location. The rental car was not properly safety-checked. I discovered there was no windshield washer fluid while driving on the highway during a snowstorm. This created a dangerous situation, and I had to stop at a gas station to buy some myself. Very disappointing experience.
This is the worst place to book a cab from. We booked it with our kid and the people do not pick the call and we were asked to leave without picking by a staff. Had to spend almost 400$ extra because of them. Imagine in the heat with absolutely no means to commute. Pathethic staff with absolutely no empathy. Infact they are even worse than apathic people.
