Terrible experience. We booked a car for 4PM on Saturday last week, but the local Budget team decided to close the operation, even with numerous booked cars to be picked up, so we had to book ultra expensive Ubers to make it to Provincetown. Total disaster with no accountability and no way to contact them. Avoid at all costs or at least wait until they go bankrupt and are replaced by an actual functional car rental option.
Good cars, better prices and the customer service is better than the competitors. The lady at the Hyannis airport is super helpful and informative. Will update with a name upon next rental lol.
Always a smooth experience--picking up the car, driving it and returning it.
Beware that you will be fleeced $250 dollars from your rental agreement w/Budget Car Rental should you not vacuum out the car entirely before returning it to Barnstable Airport. The additional charge broke our vacation budget. Next time I'll drive my own car.
