Staff is knowledgeable and helpful, but the operating hours are extremely inconvenient. The office closes at 6:30 p.m. even though a regularly full flight from Seattle arrives around 7:00 p.m. It works fine if your flight happens to land during their limited hours, but if you’re even slightly delayed—or on that common evening flight—you’re out of luck. Extended hours aligned with actual flight schedules would make a huge difference.
Recently just rented a car from the LAX airport last week and I waited an over an hour in line just to get to counter to pickup my car. I prepaid for the vehicle over the phone prior to pickup and I was asked if I would be using their liability insurance and I declined and said I would be using my own. Then again during pickup they asked me the same question and I said no I will be using my own and this was discussed during pickup. Exceptional Service – Jason Went Above and Beyond! I can't say enough good things about the service I received from Jason at Budget. He truly went above and beyond to help me out of a tough spot. I had never flown into Pullman before and tried to reserve a rental car online the day before my trip, but nothing was available. Had an absolutely awful interaction with the hertz rental counter (the employee left 5 hrs earlier and flaked on an appointment we had made). Jason (the budget employee) was extremely helpful trying to find a work around for hertz's ineptitude. I used budget before and with no hassel. I will be using them again thanks to my interaction today with Jason!
He quoted me one day for $350 before tax and insurance! "Budget car rental" damn somebody need to sue!!!
