I reserved a mid-size SUV (CX-5 or similar) for 10 days, but at the Inver Grove, MN location I was given a compact SUV because they said no other vehicles were available. The car also had a strange smell, and the tire pressure was low. When I called, I was told to take care of it myself and go to a tire shop. This was my first time renting from Budget, and it was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend renting from the Inver Grove, MN Budget location.
I rented a truck on the 5th of this month. It is now the 26th and they still have refused to return my $150 deposit. There were no issues with my rental ON MY PART I had it a total of maybe 8 hours returned it full of gas too because they require you to. They aren’t holding it for any reason either. I’ve called billing and the location themselves and nobody will help me get the deposit back. Apparently it’s just what they do. Rented a car at the airport. Found out that our fob was not working to lock/un lock the car and by the next morning it was barely working to start the car. This Budget was just down the road from our hotel and we didn't really want to go back to the airport to have it fixed. We walked in and he was able to pull a battery from an old fob and had us on the road again in minutes. Sure made our day a lot less stressful!!
