This happened two years ago and I still cringe every time I drive past this location. I was even offered a free rental and turned it down because I can never step foot into this place again. Absolutely the worst experience when I returned the car. The woman argued with me and mis-quoted the rental agreement, insulted my education, and snatched the keys from my hand. I reserved a mid-size SUV (CX-5 or similar) for 10 days, but at the Inver Grove, MN location I was given a compact SUV because they said no other vehicles were available. The car also had a strange smell, and the tire pressure was low. When I called, I was told to take care of it myself and go to a tire shop. This was my first time renting from Budget, and it was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend renting from the Inver Grove, MN Budget location.
I rented a truck on the 5th of this month. It is now the 26th and they still have refused to return my $150 deposit. There were no issues with my rental ON MY PART I had it a total of maybe 8 hours returned it full of gas too because they require you to. They aren’t holding it for any reason either. I’ve called billing and the location themselves and nobody will help me get the deposit back. Apparently it’s just what they do.
