We had a great experience with Budget on Clarendon Street yesterday, especially thanks to Radouane at the desk. We had a difficult situation with our pre-booking, and he really went out of his way to help us get a car shortly before closing time, which we desperately needed. Thank you so much for your kindness and support, and also thanks to the gentleman who helped us start the car. All in all, five stars.
Worst experience I have ever had trying to rent a car. I had a reservation for a small car last Friday afternoon and when I arrived 15 minutes early to pick it up, there was a full waiting room and the front desk staff told me there were no cars available. She told me to come back in 30-40 minutes. When I returned, a new woman was at the desk and she informed me there were still no cars and it would take at least an hour to have one cleaned (still a full waiting room of the same people from earlier). Booked a car to pick up here for holiday travel through Costco website, had Fasttrack and all my documents submitted ahead of time. When arrived they didn't have the SUV I booked and only had a small sized vehicle. The staff was very unhelpful and wasn't doing anything to resolve my situation. The best they could do is to tell me to go to the airport location without any guarantee to have any car available there.
