Do not rent a car from Pellston airport if you can avoid it. The woman who owns this counter is downright miserable to deal with—every single time! This time, I forgot to fill the tank. Fine, I’ll own that and pay the ridiculous $10 per gallon fee. But they went beyond that—they blatantly overcharged me. I drove about 220 miles, straight highway shot, returned the car with half a tank left (I looked at it when I got home). If you call the number ending in 8160 (during business hours), you will talk to a real person at the desk in Pellston, which is not the case for alot of rental companies. I spent several days trying to get a rental car for one way out of state and couldn’t get anything in Traverse City or Petoskey. Thank goodness for the friendly lady at the counter today.
Worst scam ever! Gouged us for rental! We had to use budget as it was the only car rental available! Beware! We had a deer collision and had to return down state! Do not use! They don’t deserve a one star!
Worst car company to rent from. Made an arrangement. I bought it online confirmed with an actual live agent for Jackson. Michigan went to pick up the car the next day. They don't have any cars when I called customer service. The best they could offer is a 5 to ten day refund. Or I could drive over an hour away? And they may have a vehicle for me. Never in a life have I seen such poor business, not to mention the fact that it's basically theft when they take your money with no intent of producing the product.
Had a great Experience renting from the Pellston location. The staff is always great!
