Avoid booking with this company. They overbook and cancel your booking at the last minute. Not reliable. I booked a car rental for 14 sep 2025-16 sep 2025. They unilaterally cancelled my booking on 10 sep via a brief email stating ‘overbooking’. This booking was made back in Dec 2024 via AirportRentals. They take no responsibility. They offer no alternative solution. They just leave you stranded less than a week out from the trip.
If there was an option to give this company a ZERO, I would have rated them a ZERO (hey Google, offer the option). I made a reservation through the Budget web site in May 2025 to pick up a vehicle in September 2025 (so four months ago) and five days before the day that I was picking up the vehicle, I received a voice mail message from the location in Whitehorse that my reservation had been cancelled. Cancelled my reservation 2 days before while not offering any alternatives. Not cool at all. Their manager is on vacation and no way to file a complaint. Not reliable at all. Now will be supporting your competitor Driving Force! 😡 😡 😡 😡 😡
Booked 3-day car rental (Budget Whitehorse Airport) 9 months in advance. We are flying out tomorrow. The morning prior to, Budget Whitehorse Airport called and told us that the reservation has been cancelled due to overbooking. Budget expected us to accept for the error caused on their end without any solid assistance. Never thought Budget is not reliable.
Booked our week-long reservation 8 months in advance. Scheduled to arrive on a Monday. They called the Friday before our arrival and canceled our reservation due to overbooking. Left us desperate for a replacement rental with zero sympathy.
