One-Star Review for Budget Rent a Car I had a terrible experience with Budget Rent a Car. I rented a car last minute due to a flight cancellation and specifically asked the customer service rep if I could bring it back two hours after the 11:30 AM drop-off time. He agreed and said it was “no problem.” However, a worker from head office called me, saying I was late. I highly recommend this car rental agency. They were so accommidating as I had to balance family emergency health obligations and the need for reliable transportation. A vehicle was required and the need changed over several times. Mike and David... outstanding supportive service ...in one particular instance- went above and beyond . I can't thank their whole team enough! They will be my go to in the future! Thank you!!
The poor customer service is not worth the hassle… when we went to pick up our car, we had to wait over 40 minutes because there was nobody at the customer service desk. The hours are posted that they open at 10:00am; we had a scheduled pickup at 10:30am and nobody showed up for work until 10:44am. We tried calling the Budget number to get help but were unsuccessful in getting through. I had a great experience renting from this location. It’s literally impossible to get around Yukon without a car (if you’re a foreigner) so we took the gamble despite some of the negative reviews I read. I personally had a great experience. The car we got was really good, SUV Ford, very clean and felt new & excellent on gas (I was impressed!). I think it was a GREAT value as it was not expensive for such a good quality vehicle.
