We recently took a trip up near Crescent City after renting from a different budget rental location. While near there, the check engine light came on in the car and I called roadside assistance as their website told me to do. Do not rely on this rental car location for any travels. Called to tell us “no cars will be available” despite a reservation multiple days ahead of time. Their story is that a truck from Budget came and took 5 of their cars. Then they deleted our reservation from their queue. Completely out of sync with Budget corporate and not making any efforts to resolve it. Almost left two bike tourists stranded and were unwilling to help coordinate alternatives.

The attendant was pleasant, knew how to do her job and made the process quick and easy.
