My friend and I traveled all day to get to B.C. from Saskatchewan. The Budget employees had zero empathy when my friends credit card declined. No alternative way to pay! they were rude. We know absolutely no one in this province. They refused any payment by another credit card, cash or debit. (Even with a deposit.) Will NEVER consider using this company again for when I travel. Luckily PractiCar picked us up and HEY they were cheaper!
I am writing this to highlight a major service failure at this Budget location. My flight landed at 12:00 AM, and I was at the rental counter by 12:05 AM for my confirmed reservation. Despite this location’s posted closing time of 12:30 AM, the counter was completely unstaffed and abandoned.
