Smooth transaction getting car but we weren't told the correct slot to drop it off at..the car was filthy when we got it as well on the inside and outside.
One person working the check in counter, then he stepped away to take a call. Took over 20 min with only 5 people ahead of us.
I recently had a very frustrating experience with Budget Car Rental. The original rental vehicle I received had a service light come on, and I was given a hard time about exchanging it even though the issue was with the vehicle itself. After finally going to the airport location to swap it out, the replacement vehicle they gave me smelled heavily like cigarettes, forcing me to go back inside AGAIN for a second replacement vehicle. AVL was fine. Lines kept moving so made it through security quickly. Airport was clean & signage was good. The negative part of the trip was Budget Car Rental. AVL needs to rethink letting this horrible business take up space at thier facility. We reserved a vehicle in early Feb. for our trip to Ashville, in May. Upon arrival we went to the rental car area to find that Budget did not have anyone behind the counter.
