Customer service goes a long way. Guy at the counter was just so rude, we left, canceled our reservation and went to Enterprise and got a much better rate. We came to pick up our vehicle early and was told it was not available. Okay, fine that’s understandable. The guy told us they only had minivans or whatever was out in the front row. So we pick a car from the front row and he tells us that it’s already rented. Then he proceeds to keep reminding us of our original pickup time. Very friendly, great service, and reasonable prices. I especially appreciated the unlimited mileage for SUVs, which Enterprise doesn’t do on a lot of their SUVs. They even gave me a free upgrade because the car we reserved had an engine warning light on. Excellent job, Budget!!
Called the local 314 number to verify that the vehicle listed for the rental would be the one I receive (same extended length, that is) and I keep getting re-routed to a national call center (that isn't in the US, of course) the Call center gave me the list of vehicles that could be the "Premium SUV, aka Chevy Suburban or similar" Here's the list the foreign call center gave me: Chevy Suburban Yukon XL Ford Ranger Ford Expedition L Chevrolet Econoline (a van) Toyota Tacoma I explained that only half of the list were actually... read more
