Do NOT rent from this location! We reserved a van 3 months in advance showed up to pick it up, on time, and was told they knew the night before there wouldn’t be vehicles available for that day’s reservations. We were told we were 3rd in line to wait for a vehicle and ended up waiting 3 hours for someone to drop off a van.
I returned vehicle on 6/11 9:45am but when I received a receipt, it showed that I returned the car on 6/12 6:19am. My flight time was 6/11 10:45am, so it does not make sense that I returned the car on 6/12. In addition, I made a payment when I reserved the car, but they charged full amount without any prepayment. Will never use Budget at Roanoke airport.
Pre-booked and paid full price for a vacation rental weeks in advance. Budget is happy to take your money but they will not hold a car for you. Arrived at my reservation time to pick up our car and was told they did not have anything for us and the rude front desk person essentially laughed in our face about it. My wife reserved a minivan back in January. We arrived on May 13th and we have been waiting for nearly an hour to get a vehicle that will be sufficient for our family. The fact that the customer service and logistical support of this company is so sad, I'd highly suggest that customers NOT use this rental group. I have been sitting here long enough to see the operation of Enterprise and Hertz is so much more efficient and gets their customers taken care of. They had the lowest rental price for what I needed. It was so easy to pick and to drop off.
