Truly ridiculous, avoid at all costs. Usually book with enterprise and have no issues. Budget folks are incompetent. I requested the fuel service option when booking and they did not add it to my contract - causing me to later get charged for gas a 10 bucks a gallon… great job. Called and they couldn’t do anything citing the contract. Never again

Unlike, the car rental the next counter over (previous review). The customer service was TOP notch at Budget. There were two agents trying to help at once-Ry and Shanel! They were both amazing and friendly. My wait time at the counter (5mins) then straight to the vehicle. The vehicle was clean and leaving the garage was even simpler the the previous rental company. Returning the vehicle was a very simple process. Great Job Budget Car Rental Hartsfield Jackson! Good Day!

Atlanta Intl Airport… Customer service wasn’t good and we were blindly overcharged. We were told that we had to pay a $300 deposit because we were paying with a debit card AND the cost of the rental and when returned($183), we’d receive that $300 back. A LIE. We only received $183 back and that’s because in the rental agreement, after all the “fees”, our total due was $309. The lack of transparency has helped us arrive to our decision to NEVER rent from them again.

The service is very slow; whenever I rent a car, it takes more than 30 minutes to deliver it.

Book a car elsewhere and avoid a nightmare. Overall, poorly run operation with poorly trained staff. To hammer home the pain, the desk staff is dismissive, blames “corporate office” for overbooking (this location is a franchise) and lack of staff to turn around returned cars that are sitting idle. Go elsewhere to avoid upending your plans. In our case: minimum of 2 hr delay for a much smaller vehicle than what was reserved (reservation was made months in advance).
