I rented a vehicle out of Atlanta July 3-6. I filled up the gas tank, as I was told to. The gas line dropped just as I pulled into the airport, so I expected a charge. They later issued a receipt with a gas charge PLUS the extra $10 to fill it up. I disputed this and their customer service representative has gone circles with me time and time again without explaining the charge. Je me suis présentée au comptoir après avoir reserve un véhicule à l'aide de ma carte de debit en conformité avec ce qui est annoncé sur le site. Malheureusement je n'ai pas pu récupérer le véhicule et les collaboratrices de l'entreprise n'ont rien fait pour trouver des solutions (leur seule solution était d'aller chez la concurrence...). En plus, j'ai dû telephoner moi-meme pour obtenir un remboursement, ou est donc passe le service client? Je ne recommande pas du tout.

Worst rental car experience ever! Made and paid for a reservation of a car days before. Got to the rental car counter and my wife was told it would be an hour before a car was cleaned and ready. WHAT? Excellent customer service….NOT! Let me get this straight. You want me to pay for an hour use of a car that you didn’t provide to me? And if it takes an hour to clean a car I would expect a fully detailed vehicle so you lied on top of charging me for an hour of which I did not have the vehicle. Hear me when I say this. I’m from India and booked a car rental with Budget two weeks ago. However, at the counter, I was informed that according to their policy, Indian driving licenses are not valid in Atlanta State. So, a note for all international travelers: check if your foreign license is accepted by the rental company before booking. In my case, Budget didn’t accept it, but I went to Avis, and they accepted my Indian driving license without any issues.
