This was the worst car rental experience we have ever had…. We have rented several cars and this was hands down the worst experience. For starters there was trash in the truck, and it looked like someone had thrown up all over the back driver side door and window. Then we started pulling out of the parking lot and the rotors and brakes are so bad you could barely stop even only doing 10 mph. Fantastic experience. I will only rent from budget/avis any time I need a rental. The process was easy, affordable and extending the rental was also easy.
Terrible Experience with Budget Syracuse Airport I had a confirmed reservation to pick up a rental car from Budget at Syracuse Airport at 11:00 PM, with my flight arriving from Chicago at 10:30 PM. Unfortunately, my flight was delayed, so I repeatedly called the Syracuse Budget office to inform them and confirm whether they could hold my reservation. Booked vehicle a few hours before pickup online. Trish was helping us at the counter. Very nice and friendly! Check in was quick (prepaid online) return was quick and easy as well. No complaints!
First was not good experience! I will not base my review off of her. My first experience was less than ideal. I came in at night. I had rented a four-wheel-drive. I was given a Kia that was a 2 Wheel Dr. (and then we ran into a snow squall or blizzard!! The person who I dealt with did not know what she was doing.
