We needed to drop our car off at Mesa AZ airport for early morning flight and Google recommended to confirm they had a after hours return drop box at the airport. I tried to call the Mesa counter, never connected, rolled over to Budget offices literally overseas, multiple times! No one could give me a local Mesa airport number that connected to them so I could ask this simple question. One of the agents even told me to drive to the airport to talk to them in person! I was in and out quickly. The gentleman at the desk was efficient. The car was in good condition and a pleasure to drive. The only issues; the inside of the windshield wasn't very clean and the windshield wiper fluid was low.

Make sure you get the person at desk to provide a signature when agreeing on something. They didn’t have the vehicle I reserved 6 months prior and put me in another vehicle saying the price remained the same when I asked. A person at the desk had me sign papers before seeing actual total because I was going off “price was the same”. When they handed me the receipt I asked them why it was so much more? Avoid this specific Budget Car Rental. The guy behind the counter was just pure rude and didn't have any idea what he was doing.
