I had a good experience renting the car from budget car rental. The counter is just after the bag claim area. All other car rental counter are there. Not much waiting in line to get the car. Car was clean. Easy to get out from airport and to return the car.
We needed to drop our car off at Mesa AZ airport for early morning flight and Google recommended to confirm they had a after hours return drop box at the airport. I tried to call the Mesa counter, never connected, rolled over to Budget offices literally overseas, multiple times! No one could give me a local Mesa airport number that connected to them so I could ask this simple question. One of the agents even told me to drive to the airport to talk to them in person! I was in and out quickly. The gentleman at the desk was efficient. The car was in good condition and a pleasure to drive. The only issues; the inside of the windshield wasn't very clean and the windshield wiper fluid was low.
