Horrendously slow. One person in front of us 30 minute wait so far. Then someone else came back and skipped us because the A/C didn't work in their car. Plus 15 minutes before we get seen. Then they tell us they don't have cars even though we booked days in advance. No apology no acknowledgement of slow or sub par service. We watched a huge July 4th weekend security line build up and the clear behind us all while waiting to get to the front of the line. Avoid - any "budget" saving is a false economy
Woman working took 30 minutes to help 1 person. There is a line of 5 people waiting. Get more employees if you’re going to hire incompetent ones.
Terrible experience with the Budget HPN Rental Station. Very unprofessional staff. I rented the car for 2 days from May 10 to May 12. Returned the car in their parking lot as instructed and left keys in the vehicle as indicated in the parking lot area dedicated to Budget. DO NOT DO THAT!!! In my case they added a couple of extra days and charged me extra fees. DO NOT TRUST THE PERSONNEL AT THE COUNTER AND, BETTER DO NOT RENT FROM THEM AT ALL.
When we arrived at the rental car facility they were running very behind. The car they gave us had a strong smoke smell, was extremely dirty, and had damage on the back of the car. When we went to leave, we showed the attendant the damage and the level of dirtiness of the car, we asked for a new car and there was not any available and were forced to use this car. I rented a car for a month, during this time it rained, and as you probably know that means dirt gets in the car. I was charged a $ 125 cleaning fee - for this "damage" I've been renting cars here for a long now and this is the first cleaning charge I've had.
