Horrible customer service. I made a reservation through price line from the airport for a full size SUV from Budget but someone from AVIS took care of me. I was hoping to get a GMC Yukon but they ended up giving me a Chevy Tahoe. The Chevy was so dirty i had a hard time sitting inside the vehicle. It was like the car was never touched for weeks. $832 for a 2-day standard car rental?! Insane. Never renting through Budget again, and I’ll warn everyone I know. Customer service? Useless. When I mentioned the price, they said, “You made the reservation, so you agreed.” No questions about who booked it — what if it was a mistake? Lesson: don’t trust car rental deals through airline ads, especially Budget. Shocking how companies profit off others’ mistakes. Truly sad… and laughable. Please, go ahead and laugh now!
Absolutely awful customer service. They don’t care about you at all. Had a situation where I reserved a rental car and paid insurance upfront. Didn’t have enough money on my credit card, had plenty on my debit card but didn’t pass a “soft credit check”? I have around a 650 credit score so this makes no sense. Better luck just finding a Lyft or an Uber. Rental car options at the Rochester airport might as well be non existent.
