I want to give a huge thank you to Denise at the Budget office at Oxnard Airport — she seriously saved my day. I had flown in from Europe the night before and originally reserved a car with another company at the airport (definitely do NOT recommend Dollar Car Rental). I had even spoken with them before traveling, and the manager Sai (?) assured me everything was set. But when I arrived, there was no car available for me at all. I had a deeply frustrating experience at this location that significantly disrupted a high-stakes travel day. I had a confirmed 8:00 AM reservation for a specific vehicle size, which was chosen out of necessity; my family is currently in the middle of an overseas move, and we required the exact cargo capacity I paid for to transport all of our luggage. Denise is amazing. She is so fast and doesn’t play games when it comes to getting you in and out. Her customer service and kindness is outstanding. While the airport doesn’t have an overnight drop off she let me know I could drop it off at the Port Hueneme location if I need!
