Easy and quick process. Car was relatively new.
Didn't have the car size I had contracted for. Tried to give me a much smaller vehicle, saying it was comparable. Budget in general has been a disaster the last three times we rented from them, twice saying there was a 3 hour wait for a vehicle. Avis and Enterprise are usually more expensive but at least they have vehicles on site.
Does not open on time. Calling the number on the door leads to some offshore customer service that say they can't do anything about it. Call the other locations nearby to try to get their manager to wake up their employees, it worked for me.
Budget started of shaking from the start they “upgraded” us to a Tesla not knowing anything about electric cars we waiting 15 min before we could find someone to help us go! Than we noticed the interior was worn down and wrapped, normally you have someone walk you through the car showing and confirming “damages” and what they consider dents or scratches! Vehicle was good and any problems I had I was able to call them and they took care of it but they did hit me with a one-way seat which I was not expecting. Unfortunately my trip went from a go and visit someone and fly back home into a I'm going to have to drive a bunch of stuff home across the entire country and they did not seem to really care
