Booked months ago and found out 3 hours before my pick-up time that no vehicle was available. This completely disrupted my planned vacation as it left my family of 6 without transportation to Alabama. It was not an isolated issue, as both Lansing offices cancelled numerous people on the day of their travel due to not having vehicles. Check out process is heinously long. Smooth check out every time. 250$ dp on debit. 0$ down on cc. Typically* just to lyk . The website says a debit might incur a cost. It's 250$ preauth hold* goes away very quickly at my coop. Like under 12 hrs when they say 3-7 days. So the first time it might be a day or two? But once the bank trusts them it goes really quick.
If I could give a zero rating I would!!! Had the worst experience there this past Monday night 1/20/25!!! My daughter and I flew into Detroit for Michigan State tour Tuesday. The electric car we rented ran out of battery in an hour and had errors going off and was unsafe to drive. Update 12/2024 they charged my account for same thing one month later. They said it was a computer error and they are refunding my money(I most likely will have to contact them again). What a horrible experience!!!! Will never use Again! They didn’t have the vehicle that I had reserved. Tried to give me a bigger vehicle which I could not drive so they gave me a vehicle that was dirty and had no gas which I agreed to since they said I would not have to clean it or fill up the fuel Upon my return charged $450 cleaning fee. cus... read more
