This place sucks!! I booked a car online yesterday, got a confirmation text and email, got a reminder email to pick up the car, got to the desk and they said they wouldn’t have any cars until 5pm! How did I receive all these confirmations if they didn’t have any cars available?
I had one of the most frustrating experiences with Budget Car Rental and will not be using their services again. I had a reservation to pick up my car at 2:00 PM. I arrived at 2:10, only to be told by the man at the reception that my car would take 30 minutes to arrive. Annoying, but fine—I agreed and decided to come back later. Office is supposed to open at 7:00. It is 7:11 and doors still locked. This is the second time I have used this location and the office isn’t open at the posted time. The guy that works here strolls in late like nothing matters.
Terrible business. First, I booked an SUV 2 months before a family vacation. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, there were no SUVs available. After waiting a few minutes, a minivan came in, so I took it. Second, when I opened the door on the van I was overwhelmed by the strong smell of pot. Not cool! I had read reviews for this location before making a reservation, but was desperate and decided to give them a chance. However, this was the worst car rental experience ever and I'm not one to leave reviews. I wish I could give them 0 stars. I booked a car from Budget through a 3rd party agency and when I went to this location they told me i needed to come back in the middle of the rental period to extend the contract because they don't allow 37 day car rentals and they gave me a smaller car than i paid for.
