Budget has Terrible integrity. I made the mistake of leaving my expensive item in the rental car. Called the very next morning roughly 10 times and could not get through. Finely drove to the location in person later that morning and asked about it. I was told the vehicle was moved to another location and they would check in and let me know. My family rented a Santa Fe for a few days before the bad weather came to Nebraska and had to short their trip to beat the blizzard. Got stuck on the side of the road with the vehicle. We could not reach the rental car place to get help or towing assistance with no compassion for human life, still charged a late fee on the vehicle for a disaster out of everyone's control. Called to cancel my reservation 1hr before my reservation. Also made me call another number to get a refund through their own company. The guy was rude, and could have cared less about my situation. This is why places like this will be replaced with an app someday.
Terrible. Makes you jump through hoops if using a debit card.
If you need a truck, good luck. I feel like Jerry Seinfeld when he says, "You see, you know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to hold the reservation. And that's really the most important part !" Two weekends in a row I needed a large moving truck. I booked them both one month in advance. The website took the booking without issue.
