My sister arrived at the CBX today 11/06/2025, she tried to rent a car from budget, $350 a day for small car, this place is a ripoff, I went ahead and rent it for her online, same small vehicle $80 plus tax and insurance came to $130. A guy next to her was asked to pay 1600 for 3 days, yes, you heard that right, at the end he got a "discount " and paid 1200 + tax and insurance. I know it's last minute and the CBX, however, Budget should look into this office.

Customer service is decent, cars are ready but the 4 times my husband has rented cars from the Chula Vista location on Industrial Ave. they have been filthy inside and out making it hard to see day or night and to top it off one of the vehicles had a foul smell (straight ). I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt but we won’t be renting from there any longer. Back to enterprise it is, check out is longer but the cars are clean and smell great.
