Worst rental car experience I have ever had! I typically rent from Elizabethton and have never had issues. Usually get a great vehicle, never any issues at the counter and always an easy return. This was anything but that. I decided to rent from here because I was only getting a car to take on a short trip to Cincinnati. My husband has stage four colon cancer and we wanted to Take him to Florida. We wound up having to stop every hundred Miles to get air in the tire and then we get to the motel and the key fob wouldn’t work so we couldn’t lock the car with all of our possessions in it and he had to sleep in the car for three nights. My daughter was supposed to be listed as the second driver on our rental vehicle. However, when we arrived at the airport, her license was suddenly denied. The agent at the counter could not explain why. After multiple phone calls, being transferred repeatedly, and wasting a significant amount of time, not one person could provide an actual explanation. I have rented cars all over the United Sates and Europe but best customer service by far is a small town in upper East Tennessee. Tri Cities Airport in Johnson City, TN. The folks at this location go above and beyond to make your experience with them easy and fast!! The cars are just outside the door and always in great shape and clean!!! Thank you so much!
