Called just for a couple questions; put on hold for 2 minutes then I was able to ask if they take debit cards (which they do), then asked about their security deposit and was put on hold again for 12+ minutes. Wouldn't be so bad if their hold didn't include a continuous 10 second loop of clown music. But then they dropped my call. Called back and was able to confirm the deposit is between $200-$250. If I could give them 0 stars I would. We rented a car for a long distance trip. The car was dirty and full of dog hair when we got it. You couldn’t see out the windshield and it was just poorly taken care of. I’m not the type to complain and neither is my husband. I wish we would have gone back and said something. Fast forward to when I drop off the vehicle, they refuse to receive it in because they state the vehicle is filthy and it has dog hair. I said yes, that’s how you gave it to me. Absolutely terrible experience with Budget Rent-A-Car in Santa Clarita. I reserved a full-size car. When I arrived, the staff first told me I’d be getting a compact electric car. Then they said it would be a Kia compact. Then finally a Hyundai Sonata, which, by the way, is a midsize car by every manufacturer definition. Yet they insisted, smugly and incorrectly, that it was a full-size vehicle. To make matters worse, they marked the car as picked up before I signed anything or received any keys. We booked a car here… we were taking a long distance trip with the family and concerned about a tire on the original rental. Went back an hour later and the manager was very helpful and got into another clean vehicle right away and it didn’t delay our road trip. The place was clean. The cars were clean. And the transaction was fast. This is the first time we come here … usually we go to their competition that starts with an E… but we will be coming back to this one for sure !! Thanks again for the great customer service.

Cars were very clean and we were able to switch from one to the other immediately no complications staff was also very friendly
