Deceptive. I needed a car for the afternoon to run errands while mine was getting repaired. Mo (Momen) checked the car out to me and confirmed the total would be $141 including all taxes and fees. When he handed me the contract to sign, off of a low quality dot matrix printer and difficult to read, I didn't have my glasses so i pointed to the bottom and asked this is $141.00? He said "yes". This location was convenient for me to return my car because it was close to my hotel, which is why I chose it. I returned my car the day it was due and even a little earlier than the time I selected. I arrived 11/21 at 4:30 pm (scheduled drop off time to be 5:00 pm). No one was working the counter and I waited around 15 minutes trying to find someone. The hotel is not affiliated whatsoever with this budget/avis center so they couldn’t help me either. The car I was supposed to rent (I’d prepaid) wasn’t returned on time. The staff member did nothing to help or assist, they said I’d have to pay extra for the one car they had or go to Denver airport to get the car (about 45 minutes away). They were only open for about an hour more and we had a tour to get to, so I eventually caved and got the one remaining car, but the loops I had to jump through (she had me call the hotline who cancelled my reservation and told me I couldn’t make a new one, so I ran back and saw she was on ... read more
I had reservations for a car. They did not have a car for me. They told me to call around to see if I could find a car at another budget location. Customer service has went to hell.
