Booked over a month in advance and they called me the DAY OF PICKUP to say they had nothing available! Do better at tracking your inventory instead of trying to get more money from the highest bidder!!! We had to scramble to find an SUV for a weeklong trip the next morning. Budget customer service did nothing to help, except offer higher priced vehicles at another location that also had nothing available when I called.

No cars...again. Two hours before I was scheduled to pick up my rental I was contacted by Countryside and was advised that they had no car for me. I was told to contact Customer Service. I tried that but realized after being on hold for a bit my only hope was getting a car at the Tampa Bay International Airport. The airport said they had a car for me. Since I was in the Dunedin area I had to take Uber X at a cost of about $50.00 to get to the airport. The cost increase did not end there. Airport fees and taxes added another ... read more

This is the 3rd time using this location in dunedin, florida at the budget/avis near the walmart.All 3 times I was told 1 hour before picking up my reservation there were no cars.Why is there never any cars?I understand demand but on a slow non holiday monday when just renting a car for 1 day, am told 1 hour before there are no cars.Why then was a reservation even taken if cant be honored,and this was the 3rd time has happened over a year span.What does that say about management and this company or location.Dont trust your r... read more
