Flew in from Ohio to Clearwater, reserved my car ahead and specifically called the airport Budget to check to see if they accepted debit cards instead of credit cards . Because I read you need to call to confirm this because they don’t accept debit at all locations I was told yes they do. Get off my flight and I’m turned away at the counter! Stranded at the airport and I’m there to visit my cousin in the hospital and get her moved back up north. Do not rent here. They are scammers. I rented a car for 1 day & they charged me for 3 DAYS stating that I extended the rental car when I brought the car back to them an hour early. They are SCAMMERS & will lie and take your money. They don’t give you the rental car you reserve and the cars are filthy.

Rented at PIE for a beach trip with the girls! Got the perfect van that we had chosen. Very clean and new. Most importantly, employee Jimmy at Budget PIE went above and beyond to return a priceless necklace I had lost while on our trip. Turns out the clasp had broken and it got turned into the Budget desk. When Jimmy came across it, he called me right away and on his own time, he took it to the UPS store to ship it back to me. This is outstanding customer service and should be acknowledged. Thank you, Jimmy!
