They don’t tell you that you can’t take the rental Car out of state. Then will only drop you back off at the airport as a resolution. They don’t even give a disclaimer online for this location just a crappy excuse.
If I could give this place a minus-10 rating, I would. The most unpleasant experience was renting a vehicle in McAllen. First, I arrived at the airport, but the rental agency wasn't located there; I called them to come get me, and it took them 45 minutes to pick me up. Booked via USAA, refused to honor the reservation because the specific franchise does not rent to under 25, no exceptions. Left me stranded at the airport. Shuttle took very long and wait times at the office are extremely long. Call ahead to verify everything because they WILL leave you stranded and offer no help.
Started off with address saying airport and paying fees that are airport and it not being in airport. Door frame is falling apart and crumbs everywhere. Didn't bother to even vacuum between customers. Then they tell me its 7/8th gas tank but its not. They are glad I needed it cause other place canceled. The paper they wanted me to sign with already damage acknowledging but there was way more and glad I took photos before I left.
